Non-Profits: Know Your Project Before Creating Your Grant Proposal

by Susan Snider on May 9, 2014

Grant ProposalsIt’s time to draft your grant proposal. As you begin to pull together the information needed to create your proposal, don’t confuse tools with goals.

Ask the following:

  • What is the goal?
  • What is our objective?
  • What will this project impact?
  • Is our project realistic?
  • Why is it important?
  • What does it matter?
  • What will it do?
  • Who does it help?
  • What outcome do we hope to achieve?
  • How does it align with our mission?

Your project should be aligned with your mission, so don’t miss this step. If you do, you might experience mission creep.

Not only can Snider & Associates can help you gather the information you need to create your proposal, we can create wording that will grab the right attention and help you realize your vision.
